Housing and Referrals

AOYMM provides housing for Veterans, Disabled Veterans and Youth between the ages of 18-25 who are in need of housing following the transition from Orphans and Group Homes.

SSI Benefits Assistance

AOYMM provides assistance with the completion of applications and documents required to apply for and receive Social Security Benefits. We know that some forms are difficult to understand and perhaps assistance is needed to complete the forms online or fill out forms to be mailed. Just bring your information in or come into the nearest office and we will assist with all the requirements needed to complete information. 

Veterans Benefits Assistance

AOYMM provides Veterans with the assistance of completing documents and resource information required to receive Veteran Benefits or refer you to a local Veteran Administration Office for assistance.  

Our staff are trained, and we are affiliated with disabled veterans who are knowledgeable about governmental forms and the procedures of the Department of Veterans Affairs. All documents for benefits will be reviewed and the Veterans will be directed to the appropriate department responsible for benefit percentage increases and the obtaining of  benefits for injuries sustained as an Armed Force Member.

Program Referrals

If you are in need of a program for education, housing, alcohol, drugs, mental health, family planning, teen pregnancy, family counseling, medical, dental, and HIV testing, please contact the office for a list of programs in your area, or contact your local Chamber of Commerce or Department of Health. If you are unable to access the contact information on the Chamber of Commerce or Department of Health we will happy to provide the information. Emergency Food

For local food banks in your area please contact us and we will refer you to places that will provide you will free food. AOYMM has a soup kitchen that provides (3) meals each day to individuals who want to enjoy a hot and nutritious meal, and food that you can take home and prepare. If you are in need of food please contact us and we will provide you with food and the name of other organizations and soup kitchens

Clothing Donations

Free clothes are available!  If you are unable to come into the office just send an email to Membership@AOYMM.com or  call us at  our headquarters telephone  numbers:  (215) 324-5042 or (215) 324-5047 and some one will be available to assist you. Collect calls are accepted.
